New Design!

Since I haven't changed my blog design forever, and it's summer, I went with blue and orange. I am obviously not done yet, as I still have to make a button, some extras and change some colors! (: Please tell me if something goes wrong, especially the banner!

school's out for the summer! (: of course, i'm the last of my friends to get off, but it's all good. i got off at 11 today since it was a half day AND we had a free dress day that you DIDN'T have to pay for! ha, us nerds at our school get so excited for free dress, counting that we wear uniforms every single day. (: i already don't know what to do with myself.

i already made my first summer craft with should have a tut on soon! (:

don't you feel like on the first weekend of the summer you feel you have to go back to school the next day? i always do and takes me so long to get over the fact that it's stinkin' summer!!!

it has been soooo hot here and i am so happy. (: speaking of happy, i think this is the first year i am actually excited to get out of school. i am sill sad, but not as sad as usual. how about you? you enjoy summer or school better?

oh no. . .:(

i am so sorry for not posting. i have been soo busy this whole year. i dance 5-6 days a week, meaning i get home at almost 6-9 at night. i also have school, and i have had MEA tests this whole week, plus my science one this week. ugh! i promise to get back to posting in the summer more often. i have 4 dance competitions in the next 4 weeks so you wont hear from me until after. thanks again for understanding! also, we are looking for more sponsors! make sure to email me if you are interested!

I am cannot wait to go! I was thinking of going with my older brother, since he had read the trilogy a long time ago, and especially since it is a PG13 movie. I have been counting down for this event! I even made this adorable twig and felt arrow {as shown above} into a necklace! Who else is planning to go to The Hunger Games?

I love dance. I can't live without it. Even if its in my bedroom, the gym at school, or in the studio itself, I cannot stop dancing. I tap at school, dance lyrical at home in my bedroom, do jazz dance turns in the mall, and do ballet while I am walking. I leap in the hallways when no one is looking, or I shuffle ball-change in my classroom. I can't stop dancing, nor can I live without it. I love the thrill of getting those open turns perfect, get a triple turn amazing, or get those splits down all the way. I love it when I can balance for a long time for scorpion contests, or getting platinum in competitions. I love being elected team captain twice in a row.

I love telling the story through my movements in lyrical, or hearing 'Point{e} your toes! Straighten your knees! ' from my teacher, or laughing when it takes me three times to spell 'point' 'normally'. I love giving it all I got in jazz, or mastering new moves in tap class for the first time. I love getting those new ballet shoes and sewing the straps, claiming that the new tap shoes are better because they aren't arched at your mom laughs. I love dancing and stretching so hard that I pull a muscle every two weeks, and then I am sore and can't walk at school.

I love watching the older girls in awe as they do their company dance. I love hearing my ballet teacher's stories about her dance lessons in Russia, and getting to see pictures.

Oh Gingerbread Houses,

Today we made our gingerbread houses. We wanted to wait until after the holidays to do them. (: I know, I know, they aren't the best houses you've seen. . .but come on! We tried! :) 

I cut up gum for shingles, and we also used Dots, Skittles, and Hot Tamales.

My day two of 366!

My family will also be having my FAVORITE dinner tonight, noodles and meatballs! I love my mom's recipe for them. Noodles are my all time favorite food. (: This has been the best Sunday ever! I hope that the {rest of the} Sunday and your  Mondays will go well! :) I hope you had a good weekend as well!

Day One {and some sad news}

Picnik is closing! The amazing site I edit so many photos and make all my banners on is closing! I am so sad. The good thing is that everyone can use every premium feature! (:


I will be starting a 365! {plus one, because of leap year} I will post it on this blog. I might not get every single day, but I will most likely take more than 366 photos this year. (: I will be putting my watermark on them, and I will also be putting the number photo it is.

brothers and sisters

face it. you might fight with your siblings, maybe a lot, or maybe a little. you may scream at them, get into an argument, or maybe you don't want to share. who knows!  :) but, you know {this may sound cheesy, but it is true!} that deep down, you really do love your brother or sister. you can feel what they feel at that exact moment. if they are sad, you can sense that and you then are sad. i have burst out crying when my brother was sad many times. whether you are a twin, quad, or just plain ol' brother and sister, you feel it, too. if you think about it, you probably haven't been mad at your brother or sister for very long. before you know it, you are now playing a game and laughing your heads off and just ten minutes ago, you had a fight. sound familiar? :)

next time you and your brother or sister get in a fight, and you just can't say anything nice to him, don't worry, it won't last long. like i said, before you know it, you'll be brother and sister again. forever. :)

2012

Make way for twenty-twelve! Or two thousand twelve. :)  Here are some recaps from 2012!

JUNE: I had my first giveaway! I gave away a pretty blue scarf and  I got 26 entries! :) I also went to Nationals for dance and got a high gold for my first solo!

JULY: We went to Florida! We had an amazing time there! We went to Universal Studios, went swimming at our hotel every day, I got cornrows for the first time, which is a dream come true, and we stayed at a hotel which was right next to the Gulf Of Mexico! I had such an awesome time there! :) 

AUGUST: I got picked for a second solo! :) I got an amazing solo teacher this year! My song is to 'Raining Men'. :)

NOVEMBER: I had an amazing knight 'reunion' and everybody was able to make the awesome sleepover, which was on the date of 11-11-11. :)

DECEMBER: I hit 60 followers and 10,000 page views! Thanks so much! I also got a camera for Christmas! :) I got my first sponsors! My first two sponsors, that is.

I couldn't remember the first couple months, but, boy was 2011 was fun! I found a cool thing to do for 2O11. I will record a little thing I did every day for a year and I can do it for a couple years. It will be fun to see what I did this day in 2012/2013/2014. :)
