Christmas

Merry Christmas Eve!

Christmas is one of the most anticipated times of the year.

Neatly wrapped presents waiting for you under the brightly lit tree,

while you wait on the stairs for the time to come

to open your gifts.

To watch and hear the faces and screams of delight is truly

magical.

Late into the day,

you play with your dolly or your

truck. 

Later, you may go outside to play in the white blanket of snow {if there were some here! ;)}

I truly love Christmas, and not only because of the gifts {but i ain't gonna lie--i love gifts, too! ;)}

but because I love giving them. 

This Christmas, I will be going to see a movie after some delicious dinner of ham and more, like Thanksgiving.

It's a new tradition.

I hope everybody has safe travels this holiday season if you are going on vacation or to see relatives.

{Day Eleven} Guess Where My Elf On The Shelf Was!!

We found her in our knives this afternoon, and I made her second dinner this week. She is having chicken,milk, and some caramel puffs. Yesterday, she had spaghetti, milk, and licorice. :)

{Day Nine} iPod Holiday Apps

I have been so excited for Christmas, I have a count down on my iPod. I have been counting down since about November 24th. :) Addicted, I know. :) Heres a screenshot of my home screen. The app is the bottom left red app. :)

{Day Seven} Weather

Brr!! It's been so so cold this winter so far!

Almost only 9 degrees some days! Every day I freeze to death!

I also bring a cool hat some days, like my striped Cat In The Hat hat, or my Elf Ears one, or maybe my sock monkey hat. I love the sock monkey one the best. I got it for Christmas last year. :)

{Day Six} Paper Flowers How-To

Today, I am going to show you all a tutorial on how to make paper flowers, to use on your presents, cards, etc. Let's get started!

You'll need. . .

 You will need three pieces of paper, scissors,a pencil, and a stapler.

 Stack all three pieces of paper and draw two circles, depending on how big  you want your flower to be.

 Cut the circles out.

 Staple all the circles together.

 Cut little slits all around the outside, as show above. {tip} Before you staple the circles, you can cut the slits on each circle on by one, mix them up, and the staple them together as normal. This will achieve a more pedaled look.

 Now, crumble your circles!

 Crumble until your flow is just right!

Yup! We got it up not too long ago!

Yes! We have two tree this year, but we only have our 'main' one up.

This year is the first year we have two trees up.

When we got Wii remotes as presents, but now the Wii, so we all shouted "Wait, Wii Remotes but no. . .WE GOT A WII!!!!!!" Haha!

6, but we aren't allowed downstairs until about 8.

We have an Elf On The Shelf, his name was Oliver, but this year, a new elf came and it's a girl! :)
