Merry Christmas, everybody! I took some pictures to. . .Wait. How did she take photos without a camera? Oh YES. I GOT A CAMERA!!! A pink Canon camera! I love it so much! Back on to what I was saying! I took pictures to show you how my morning was spent hidden behind my new camera!

I had an amazing Christmas! We were allowed to wake up at 7 to open presents! I also got some cute clothes from Abercrombie. Santa left us a note in reply to mine and ate our cookies. Our Elf On The Shelf also went with Santa on his flight home. :)

Merry Christmas Eve!

Christmas is one of the most anticipated times of the year.

Neatly wrapped presents waiting for you under the brightly lit tree,

while you wait on the stairs for the time to come

to open your gifts.

To watch and hear the faces and screams of delight is truly

magical.

Late into the day,

you play with your dolly or your

truck. 

Later, you may go outside to play in the white blanket of snow {if there were some here! ;)}

I truly love Christmas, and not only because of the gifts {but i ain't gonna lie--i love gifts, too! ;)}

but because I love giving them. 

This Christmas, I will be going to see a movie after some delicious dinner of ham and more, like Thanksgiving.

It's a new tradition.

I hope everybody has safe travels this holiday season if you are going on vacation or to see relatives.

Walking In A Winter Wonderland. . .I Wish.

Seriously. Where I live, no snow by the end of November or by December 7th is almost. . .almost. . .something. . .that cannot be named it's so rare. ;) We've had about 3 downfalls, but the most was a foot. All the other ones melted in under 48 hours. :( The weather report says there is only a small chance for snow on Christmas Eve. Doesn't sound much like a white Christmas, does it? I swear, I am going to put "Snow" on my wish list. I think all the snow was used up lat year, and we ran out of snow. :(

This week is going to be fun because my dance winter break doesn't star until next week, but my school break starts today, so I have dance at night but free time during the day. :) Did mention that my brother AND Dad's birthdays are this week? My brother's birthday is tomorrow and he is turning 15. My Dad's birthday is on the 22nd. Only two days apart!!

As you can see, I installed a new design, which I made with a kit from Summer Time Designs and GIMP. :) I also fixed the header, as it wasn't big enough!

i got gimp! {a one-handed post}

{i am multitasking right now, so this post shall be written with one hand.}

i have been day dreaming about gimp ever since i saw tutorials for making blog backgrounds using gimp. i never thought i could get it, because they do not have a download available for windows or mac by gimp itself. instead, it has a download by another person available, which, of course, i was scared to download. that is, until today. i asked my amazing dad and he helped me download it! it only took three minutes. i can't wait until i can read some tutorials about making backgrounds so i can actually make one!! did i mention i can cross it off my bucket list?? i know its early, but hey, better now then never! don't forget to check out the rest of my bucket list page!
